raindrops

On my card I have used a gorgeous leaf corner die and also
beautiful stamps I purchased ages ago and they
are called 'Textures', a large stamp sheet with a lot of stamps on it.

The drops are called "Raindrops"
a single rubber stamp which I heat embossed
then added papier glass finish to it.

These are from Design by Ryn.
These are great sturdy stamps to use.
My background was smooshed with distressed inks and brusho's.

I never knew Design by Ryn had challenges
now I do so I can play and enter and use these stamps again.

this n that

Using embossing past, stencil, stamping and a butterfly die. Trying the
nail polish technique inspired by Bonny which my butterfly
was die cut from.
I only had two colours so it turned out a little dull but a rather
different and interesting technique. [Lots of ventilation needed]
Tangerine memento ink pad was used for my stamps.

This is a great challenge blog to learn new techniques from
the lovely DT, always inspiring. Thank you..

roll on summer

More new stamps from Rubber Dance, thanks Dot,
for posting so promptly.  [These stamps can be
purchased here in Australia at Ink Art Designs.]
I am using Retro Beach.
While waiting for my stamps to arrive, I decided to
challenge myself with a few beach scenes.
Acrylic paints onto canvas was my first time to play.
The Result:

After stamping with black versafine ink, I then clear embossed
and gave it a shot with the heat gun.
Thanks Karen for this idea.
The canvas soaks up the ink.

Also, sharing a mixed media creation but this time onto glossy
card stock. [not for the challenge]. Using mixed media paste,
stencils and TH distress inks.

"I DO"

June is WEDDING Month (Anything Wedding)
and we, team Darlene, have chosen
this beautiful mood board to help
you along with our theme...
WEDDING

My card was all basically cut on the silhouette cameo
using a template I purchased ©Tina Finch. Using our mood board as well.
Very fiddly to put together but the end result is one I am happy with.
Now to find someone who needs a wedding card..
The sentiment is computer generated.
The couple is a Marianne Die.

Our ladies are always so generous with their prizes and
this is the one for this challenge.

What wedding card will you create?
We, the DT, always just love browsing through your blogs for
your entries to our challenge, so  keep them coming.

See you at
